We are excited to announce our first Annual EnerGenie STEM Scholarship Program! EnerGenie is committed to investing in our local communities by helping high school seniors fulfill their dreams of going to college. We will be awarding one $1,000 scholarship to a qualified high school senior!
EnerGenie STEM Scholarship
Application Process:
Complete and submit the online application by 11:59 PM on June 15, 2023.
Write a 450-500-word essay on the following topic and upload it with the application*:
What do you consider to be the single most important societal opportunity for positive change? Why?*The use of AI technology in the writing of your essay is prohibited. Any participants found to be using AI to generate their essays will be automatically disqualified.
Requirements:
- Must be a current high school senior planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college degree program in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Must submit copy of transcript (unofficial is accepted)
- Be a resident of Texas
- Complete and submit application
- 450–500-word essay on chosen topic
Important Dates:
- June 15, 2023 – Application deadline
- July 15, 2023 – Winners announced and notified
